Day 8
It is warm and sunny. I was looking for a small round brush, and the wind streamed past the French doors of the smaller balcony. The bristles should not be too soft nor too coarse, gliding lightly over the canvas and carrying the paint fluidly enough as material to occasionally shear from the paths of these brushes and drip to the ground. These brushes, too small and too round, are always either too soft or too bristly. They were of no good quality, like so many things here. The doors creaked and rattled, but I never closed them. Then I took a straw and painted with it. (Sosse Braun)
